The Hotel am Vitalpark is the perfect partner for professional training and sports camps thanks to its infrastructure and the ideal location in the middle of Germany. Surrounded by a varied landscape you will find the best possible conditions for a successful preparation for the new season or an upcoming tournament. In addition to plenty of space, cozy rooms, a modern wellness area and our own restaurant, we also offer short distances to the sports facilities of Heilbad Heiligenstadt. These are located only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Within walking distance of the hotel, the stadium “Gesundbrunnen” is located, which was fully renovated in 2018. The facility offers not only top athletics infrastructure (competition facility type c) but also a large natural grass sports field, a tartan track as well as two artificial turf pitches. Furthermore, a huge multifunctional court is available for field hockey, volleyball and basketball. A variety of indoor sports can also be trained in the “Dreifelderhalle”, located in the nearby “Kurpark”. In addition, you will find numerous running and cycling routes of different levels in the near vicinity.

Training at the hotel

The hotel itself offers you numerous alternatives for an effective training session. In our 300 m² gym "Vital & Fit", you can train on the milon® circuits, the latest generation five® mobility circuit as well as with the Technogym® equipment. Likewise, the 25-metre sports pool with a total of five lanes can be used in the swimming area. The lanes with starting blocks installed on one side are separated from each other with wave killer lines and floor markings.
