Things to know about your stay at the Hotel am Vitalpark

Accessibility

Our hotel is perfectly suited for a barrier-free holiday. In addition to our special wheelchair-accessible rooms, all hotel areas as well as the wellness area are generously, comfortably and barrier-free equipped. Our hotel complies with the guidelines of the "Travel for All" certification system.

Allergies & food incompatibility

Food intolerances are very common. As far as possible, we try to accommodate all wishes and special requirements. In the event that you suffer from a food intolerance or allergy, we would like to ask you to inform us of this before your arrival, preferably right at the time of booking.

Arrival & departure

Your room will be available to you from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. You will find more information on arrival under the point: Location & directions.

Your room will be available until 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you would like to enjoy our hotel even longer on the day of departure, we offer you the possibility of a late check-out. You can pay your hotel bill at reception the evening before or on the day of departure in cash, by EC card or by credit card.

Cancellation

Sometimes things turn out differently than you think and you have to cancel your booked holiday. In this case we grant you the following cancellation conditions:

Arrangements up to five days before arrival: free of charge
Best flexible day rate until 6 pm on the day of arrival: free of charge
Early booking rate up to two days before arrival: free of charge, thereafter 100% of the booked travel price
Savings rate: cannot be cancelled, 100% of the booked travel price

Children`s prices

The children's prices are for accommodation in the parents' room per child/day incl. breakfast and Vitalpark wellness package. For 2 children, a comfort room or suite has to be booked.

0 - 5,9 years: free of charge
6 - 11,9 years: 39,- EUR
from 12 years: 49,- EUR
baby cot: free of charge

Culinary

Our vital breakfast buffet with local accents and a tea bar is available to you from Monday to Sunday between 6.30 – 11.30 a.m. in our breakfast restaurant.

You can also experience culinary delights in our restaurant „Theodor Storm“ with a wide selection of vital dishes, international cuisine and Eichsfeld specialties. The bistro „Leineaue“ offers you hearty snacks, refreshing drinks and coffee for in between.

The best way to round off the evening is with a drink at the hotel bar or in the cosy fireplace lounge.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in our house, but only allowed in the "Standard" category. We would therefore ask you to let us know in advance. We charge a fee of 25,- EUR/day per pet (excl. food). Out of consideration for other guests, dogs may not be taken into our gastronomic facilities or the wellness area. We also reserve the right to charge for any final cleaning that may be required.

Electric filling station

The electric filling station for a fee is located in the car park directly in front of the hotel complex.

Means of Payment

You can pay your hotel bill in cash, by EC card or by credit card (American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Card).

Non-Smoking rooms

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. Non-smoking rooms will be charged 200,- EUR for final cleaning. The restaurant and public areas are also non-smoking.

Parking

In front of our hotel there are sufficient parking spaces available for a fee (7,- EUR per day). The use of the car park is at your own risk, we do not assume any liability for possible damages.

Prices

All prices include breakfast and VAT. If you book directly, the services of the extensive Vitalpark wellness package are also included.

Rooms & suites

Our hotel has a total of 130 rooms in the categories „Classic“, „Superior“, „Comfort“, „Deluxe“ and „Suite“. All rooms have a shower without any threshold (some have a bathtub), flatscreen TV, minibar, coffee/tea station, hairdryer, make-up mirror, safe and French balcony or terrace.

Sky

All major and minor sporting events - from football to boxing - are broadcast live and in HD at our lobby bar.

Visitor's tax

The town of Heilbad Heiligenstadt charges a visitor's tax of 2,- EUR per night and person aged 15 and over for tourist overnight stays. This tax is not included in our room & arrangement prices and will be charged additionally. For business stays will not charge a visitor's tax.

Vitalpark

In addition to the large bathing and sauna area, you will also find here the wellness area and the "Vital & Fit" fitness centre. The Vitalpark is directly connected to the hotel via a bathrobe walkway.

We recommend you to make an appointment in advance so that we can take into account your wishes regarding treatment, time and therapist. Please let us know in good time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.
